Garbage renovation exhibition - saying goodbye to the wasteful philosophy

Garbage renovation exhibition - saying goodbye to the wasteful philosophy

Old memories I do not want to leave:

Creative ideas and memories colliding is a good thing.

The consulate general of France visited Chengdu in 2016 to visit Roots and Shoots as they played a big part in Chengdu’s environmental month. Roots and Shoots participated in many renovations over the week in order to promote the idea of renovating rather than abandoning.

Every piece of work maybe old, however I have used new creative designs to make it bloom.

I hope you can see from the exhibition that old items stay beautiful just like paintings.

Chengdu Roots and Shoots believe that environmental protection is the most important aspect of society which must be addressed. The pace of modern life has led to some items being replaced which may only need repairing, society is very eager to update what are considered old items, but this is having a detrimental effect on the environment. Chengdu root and shoots has been advocating resource recycling, promoting waste reduction and classification, Hopefully, the public can bid farewell to the "free to discard" philosophy. In addition to a number of environmental designers turning old materials into a variety of daily necessities, the exhibition invited a number of landscapers to send flowers to make a greenhouse concept using raw materials such as dried flowers and pine cones. The use of these items does not affect the creation of the entirely new function of development.
